BeatBox Beverages may be known for bold flavors and party vibes, but behind the scenes, they’re making serious moves for the planet. Sustainability is a core part of BeatBox's identity—offsetting plastic use through rePurpose Global, supporting waste recovery projects, and advocating for better recycling across the CPG industry. Read on to learn how they're proving that doing good for the environment and building a standout brand can go hand in hand.

BeatBox Beverages is all about keeping the music on and the good times rolling. But this fun-fueled mixed-drink company knows that sustainability is key to making sure their party lasts.

“We make our business eco friendly so our customers don’t have to worry about that.” -Aimy Steadman, Co-founder and COO

BeatBox’s sustainability journey began with their initial product development, with careful consideration given to ingredient and packaging choices. Their products are packaged in resealable and recyclable packaging, but in 2020, the company took their sustainability commitment a step further. Since, BeatBox has been certified plastic-neutral through a partnership with rePurpose Global, funding the collection, processing, and reuse of as much ocean-bound plastic waste as the volume of plastic used across its packaging and operations.

This environmental commitment has strengthened BeatBox's position as a leader in sustainability, appealing to eco-conscious consumers and differentiating the brand in a competitive market. BeatBox actively collaborates with other brands to champion sustainability improvements in product development and increase both recycling access and recyclability of product cartons. They formed the Carton Recycling Action Group through partnership with the Naturally Network, a U.S. organization for conscious consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. The Carton Recycling Action Group works to improve recycling access and provide education to facilitate increased recycling of cartons.

BeatBox’s partnership with rePurpose Global allows their brand to take immediate action against the plastic pollution on our planet, while they work to improve recycling access and sustainable packaging options in the cPG space. In 2021 alone, BeatBox removed over 154,000 pounds of ocean-bound plastic waste with rePurpose Global by funding waste management initiatives in India. As of March 2025, BeatBox has recovered 4.3 million pounds of plastic from our environment through rePurpose Global. Their funding has supported 142 workers at 4 different Impact Projects (3 of which are still active in 2025). Their partnership with rePurpose Global will continue to support these communities and fight plastic pollution in 2025 and years to come.

Partnership Results

Though BeatBox’s brand is playful and as adventurous as their lineup of flavors, they take sustainability seriously. BeatBox prominently features its Verified Plastic Recovery (VPR) program (Certified Plastic Neutral) on product packaging and in their marketing campaigns, reinforcing their commitment to sustainability.

However, the brand’s advocacy for recyclability and sustainable operations has demonstrated their position as a leader in sustainability to consumers and fellow CPG brands. Their products and operations appeal to eco-conscious consumers and act as an example for other alcohol brands looking to differentiate their products and become more sustainable.

BeatBox has participated in rePurpose Global’s Plastic Reality Project, an event hosted by rePurpose Global to give businesses and sustainability leaders an opportunity to see the plastic waste crisis and innovative solutions - up close and in person. This first-hand experience gave BeatBox leaders valuable insights into the plastic waste crisis and reinforced their dedication to environmental stewardship.

Through their commitment to sustainability and their partnership with rePurpose Global, BeatBox has been able to differentiate their brand, position themselves as a leader in CPG and sustainable innovation, and have a measurable impact on the waste crisis. BeatBox knows that sustainability is the key to future-proofing their business. By taking direct action against plastic waste with rePurpose Global and incorporating sustainable practices into the foundation of their brand, they’re ensuring their party will not stop.
